Spaces of Impact_Global Initiative

When a Project Becomes Personal

Some projects go beyond design. They go straight to the heart.

When ISS called and asked me to document their Los Angeles Fire Relief initiative, I dropped everything to join. This wasn’t just another shoot — it was about people, resilience, and community.

I spent days in Pasadena photographing and filming the aftermath of the Altadena fires, and most importantly, the people it affected. Their stories were raw and real. My job was simple: to listen, to document, and to show with honesty and heart.

“Three minutes of video built a relationship that would have taken three months.”
