Hello clients and friends,

What a wild time we are living in.

Here at Lawrence Anderson Photography, the home office setup is something I've always done when I'm not on location. I am the first to admit that shooting on-location is my very favorite place to be, but having an enjoyable Work From Home setup is key to success.

So, as you settle into your WFH setup, here are my Top Three Home Office Must Haves from years of hands-on research!

1. Quiet. Determine where your 'office' will be and honor your space - let it be different than your eating or your relaxing space, if possible. Quiet space lets my thoughts sort themselves out and allows me to clearly see what my priorities are - aka my daily to-do list is no longer insurmountable.

2. Contact. Social distancing is real and must continue to be practiced, but we can still actively choose to connect on the phone or video chat rather than in a text or email. As a true extrovert I will admit that distancing is very counterintuitive, but can be 'replaced' with a little extra thought.

3. Green Space. Outdoor spaces can still be enjoyed - even if it temporarily means a long-distance wave to your neighbor from your front lawn. Carve out moments to breathe some fresh air and stretch those legs!

Many of the campuses I have photographed are at their best when they are filled with people and potential. During this very unique time, I almost imagine the spaces to be Toy Story characters - do you think the spaces are coming to life when we're not using them?

Remember that we WILL bounce back! When we do, know I'm here for you and ready to hit the ground running.

All the best,
Lawrence Anderson
