School campuses are increasingly becoming massive melting pots of students of all ages and from all over the world. And the pandemic has added a whole other dimension for architects.
A real challenge for architecture is to design spaces that encourage education and imagination for people with different standards and practices. At the University of California at Irvine for example, valuable real estate has been used to create both indoor and outdoor spaces with green areas designed to encourage students to congregate, study and socialize.
We are able to capture the open-minded spirit of that ideal by portraying the student population within a gallery of superbly designed, meticulously planned architecture in many different visual mediums.
