Travel Time to Taipei. For a majority of my life, the farthest I had traveled from Southern California was Arizona (I know, I know). I never was terribly interested in international travel in my younger years, and it wasn't until I met a German exchange student in photo school that I was ever really encouraged to open up my world to see new places.

Down a long stairway, through a maze of power cords, welding tools and sculptures, we met Jon at the door to his Malibu studio. Upon entering his space we were greeted by his numerous dogs and the smell of grease, dust and the faint scent of burning metal.Excited for what was in store for us inside we wasted no time getting the tour started!
